In his current capacity, he represents owners of homes, apartment buildings, commercial buildings, and condominiums in insurance claims and disputes.

Personal Biography

“What we do makes a difference to our clients and we get to see the real impact our work makes in everyday lives. We don’t take every case, but when we do, it’s because we want to take it all the way through.”

Goodall’s management background brings experience filled with bottom lines and corporate strategy to the law office. His undergraduate work created a perfect fit for commercial litigation and now he turns his attention to fighting for the plaintiffs.

The transition allows Goodall to know what happens on the other side, which leads to even better preparation for his clients’ cases. Having defended big businesses, he provides a competitive advantage to the Corless Zinober team with a particularly effective competitive edge and ability to fight. He worked for the Pinellas County Attorney’s Office as well as the Hillsborough County Public Defender’s Office , but the bulk of his work before joining Corless Zinober involved nursing home, medical malpractice, and insurance cases.

On the plaintiff side of law, Goodall lives for the opportunity to interact with each client. “Unlike a major corporation, a verdict for an individual client can change his/her life.” The challenge Goodall enjoys is the constantly changing variables of plaintiff law as each client brings in a unique set of circumstances. As the ever organized and detail-oriented lawyer, Goodall admires the little things that make a big difference in each case and it’s that attitude that helps contribute to the philosophy of commitment to clients at Corless Zinober.

Goodall has an appreciation for the science of sinkhole and hurricane coverage – similar to when he worked with the complex nature of medical malpractice law. With his knowledge of the process and science of sinkholes, he can better inform clients of what’s happening under their homes. And, he aspires to create a connection with clients: getting to know each one by name, not just a case file number.

Huge Baseball Fan

Baseball, as much for the strategy as the game, Goodall enjoys the subtle nuances that comes from the constant battle between the batter and the pitcher. As an Iowa native, his love for the Big Ten conference runs deep. But, his real sports enthusiasm is from being a fan of his kids who are accomplished and devoted competitive soccer players.
